The Rabbit
Pansy
Pansy came from Oakland Animal Services and is being fostered at Oak Rock Animal Preserve from June-Sept 2023. He is a 1 yr old male neutered American rabbit. He was found as a stray with urine scald all over his body, but OAS cleaned him up and discovered he has cute gray ears after they cleaned him up. He loves being around our kids, and runs up to us, curious about what excitement we have to show him. While he doesn't savor being held, he is outgoing and will come up to you to taste your clothes! He went back to OAS in September 2023 after they had more space to take in rabbits. However, we couldn't stop thinking about him and we knew he was stressed at the shelter, so in October 2023, Pansy returned to our sanctuary to his permanent home with us.Â
